"I have been living as a graduate student in Chicago for 6.5 years. During the last 3.5 years, my partner and I have been tenants of Roland. Roland encourages his tenants to contact him at any time. Roland is readily accessible via text, phone call, and/or email. He often stops by the property to tend to the front and back gardens (which are beautiful), to pick up trash on the sidewalk, or just say a friendly hello. Roland responds immediately to any concern. He is respectful of our space and patient with our ever-changing student schedules.

Roland has always communicated respectfully and in a timely manner. For example, when the city of Chicago has enacted new laws that have resulted in a change in our apartment lease, he has given us more than adequate time to understand and make decisions--such as the renewing of our lease.
